Square Pond Report

Promised Patrick that I would let him know how we did yesterday at Square in ME. Zip. Nothing. Kids had fun though. Saw one smallie taken, about 18" by an ardent gent who had been there for four hours.

Went to Pleasant in Wenham today. Saw a big pickerel taken. Maybe 20". Slow Slow Slow!

I was also up there at the same time. Slow day, but there were periods of action. Two smallies and a pickerel were all that made it through the ice. We talked to some local friends of ours who opted for another area pond (also dodging the derby crowds) and they did much better.
